It is also worth visiting Buelna or the neighbouring Colombres, an exemplary town where the Archive of Indianos is located, and contemplate the beautiful Indian mansions built by the neighbours who made their fortune in America.

Just 40 minutes from Cangas de Onís, the former capital of Spain from where the Reconquista began, or 50 minutes from Covadonga, with its majestic lakes and its Sanctuary. And cross to neighbouring Cantabria to visit its beautiful villages: San Vicente de la Barquera, Comillas, Santillana del Mar. Potes... Go up the cable car in Fuente Dé, or visit the Cabárceno park.
