Summary: Really enjoyed my stay. A really neat place with history. Great setting in the mountains off the beaten path. Tastefully decorated room. Fresh bread and croissants for breakfast. Highly recommend!

Summary: Overall, it was an excellent stay. The patron was very helpful but it would have been nice if he spoke just a tiny bit of anglais. We muddled through with my tiny bit of schoolboy french and many gestures. The kitchen/dining area was well equipped, it was a case of working everything out for myself. The communal lounge was pleasant enough but little used as the fire had a mind of it's own, it was only on once briefly during my 5 night stay, and the wi-fi didn't work in that area which was a pain. The rustic breakfast was plentiful and ideal for those who want to get out and walk in the beautiful mountainous countryside that embraces the location.
