Summary: The location of this stay is amazing. The layout of the rooms are great for families. The kids will love the loft. The communication with the staff was great after the initial confusion about self check-in verses checking in at the hotel. The bedding was clean. When we arrived, late at night, we discovered the sink was not draining. We contacted the staff and they said someone would be over to take a look at it. They arrived quickly. Because of our late arrival. This meant they showed up at midnight and were working in it until 1am. The gentleman helping do this was great. We later found out that he was the owner of the property. The staff told me that he still likes to get his hands dirty every once in awhile. He was able to make a temporary repair and explained to us that the proper fix would happen the next day. The next day we discovered the shower also didn't drain... There were also a couple issues with finish nails sticking out of the floor on the loft. This could be an issue with smaller children, but ours just steered clear of them. Even with these two small setbacks this stay was great. The location is wonderful. We didn't have time to partake in the hot tub or sauna before we left, but they looked clean and usable. The only true improvement I could think of is that they should have a person on-site to field any issues that may arise.
