Summary: You are staying in delightful historical home not a cookie cutter hotel room. We had a suite that had all the comforts for a family, including many books for adults and toys for children. Breakfast was amazing with a combo of French delights and organic produce.
Public rooms were cozy with many objects to catch your eye.
Isabelle and her husband were wonderful hosts and offered many tips for visits in Bayeaux and Normandy.

Summary: I had a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B right in the heart of Bayeux. The home is extremely clean, and the owner has an excellent eye for collecting and decorating with interesting pieces. You feel you have been invited into a well-loved French home for a visit. The breakfast was plentiful, with a fresh local treat each day. There was always fruit, homemade yogurt (delicious), fresh croissants, nuts, jams, eggs your way, and more. The inn is a 3-minute walk from where the most popular tour companies depart - very convenient, especially when wanting more sleep because of jetlag. The location is also right off the main street, which is extremely convenient for walking the city, and yet you don't have any traffic in front of the B&B. My single room was spacious, especially for European standards, and the bed was firm but comfortable, as I like. The only issue I noticed was that a woman from another group had strong cat allergies, and though Nougat is kept in separate parts of the home, this particular woman still seemed to react. If you are extremely sensitive to cats, this may not be a good place for you. American B&Bs tend to feel more like small hotels these days - European B&Bs seem to have retained the feeling of being a guest in someone's home. Also, if you have problems with stairs, be aware that the stairs are narrow and twist a little. Europe, in general, can be tough for people with knee issues. Plan accordingly in terms of hotels and tours.

Summary: This is the best stay option in Bayeur. Isabelle was very kind. She came to the train station to drive us to her B&B. Her property is on a very quiet street. But it is so close to the Main Street and all the shops, restaurants, local attractions, all in a few min walking distance. The room is very nice, clean, and European which we love. The breakfast she cooked every day was so delicious. She provided many great suggestions. She even made dinner reservation for us as restaurants get full quickly in Bayeur. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to stay here again.
