LE HOHWALD is a medium mountain resort (600-1100 meters) which enjoys a privileged climate and a position in the heart of Alsace (Strasbourg and Colmar at 45 km) in the foothills of the Vosges.
This position makes it an exceptional holiday destination for visiting Alsace, the Vosges and even the Black Forest in Germany.
The apartment we offer is located 650 m above sea level, on the third and last floor of a small condominium (no elevator). It is a 35 m2 duplex on the ground with a balcony and breathtaking views:
-An entrance with cupboard
-A small bathroom with shower and toilet
-A living room (sitting area, dining area and kitchen) with access to the balcony
-A balcony with garden furniture
- Upstairs a bedroom with a double bed 140 x 190
- Upstairs a small bedroom with 2 bunk beds 90 x 190
It is ideal for 3 adults or a family with 2 children.
The equipment is complete (crockery, kitchen equipment, oven, coffee pod machine, toaster, kettle, pressure cooker, etc.).
A flat screen TV with satellite TNT, a DVD player and a HIFI system will enhance your stay. Internet and WIFI are available free of charge.
A telephone is available (free calls to landlines in mainland France).
Household linen, bathroom linen and sheets are provided. Beds are made upon arrival.
Equipment for babies and young children is available (travel cot with mattress, booster seat with tablet, potty, safety barrier at the top of the bedroom stairs)

Directly on the HOHWALD site, you can practice all year round hiking (more than 120 kms of marked trails), as well as mountain biking. Many activities are offered on site or nearby. The Champs du Feu ski slopes (bottoms and downhill) are 10 kms away.
All of Alsace is at your feet, from Strasbourg to Mulhouse via Colmar, Obernai, Mont Sainte-Odile, the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle, picturesque villages such as Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Eguisheim… to name a few some examples.
You can also take the opportunity to make a getaway to Germany and an outing to the EuropaPark Leisure Park in Rust (45 km).
The wine route is right next door and you can visit many cellars and taste the famous Alsace wines.
