Positive: The appt was ok, very tired, in need of some tender loving care and updating. I liked the fact that the host sent me a text/email stating that we had left the appt in impeccable clean condition (his words) and he wished all guests did the same. Th e tram stop is only a couple of hundred yards away as is a supermarket. the cost of the appt was very reasonable, however, I would have preferred to paymore and not have a so/so experience.

Negative: AS sson as we arrived I was dissapointed that one sink leaked and was not plumbed in properly. On the terrace there was a broken chair, also one of the mechanical sun screens would not open. I mailed the host re the sink as we had to clean up the water when we first tried to use it, I was not concerned re the chair and sun screen as there were plenty of other chairs and screens that were fine. THe toilets had holes in the walls and the place was very tired. The flat is in a square shaped block, again, looks tired, the area appears to be quite rundown. After receiving the nice text fron the host, I then recieved other messages stating that we had damaged the chair, sink and sunscreen, obviously I explained my position, all to no avail, as he tried to charge me 250 euros which I declined with Booking.com. THis is onky my second experience of Airbnb, the first was superb, this was less than good as the sour taste in the mouth post visit has blighted what was at best an adequate stay.
