Modernly equipped and renovated in 2016 holiday complex with heated indoor pool, just a few meters from the ring-shaped town center. The small colorful houses with the apartments fit perfectly into the typical image of Alsatian villages, you will recognize the colorful buildings of your holiday home from afar. The location is ideal, wine lovers can start their visits to the caves, the wine cellars, directly from here. For younger guests there is a children's play area at the reception and a playground. Eguisheim is surrounded by vineyards and is considered the cradle of Alsatian wine. Grapes grow on the slopes surrounding the village, producing two excellent Grands Crus. Activities nearby : The pretty town of Colmar with its many tourist attractions, such as the House of the Heads, "Maison des Têtes", the Pfisterhaus, the Customs House and the canals reminiscent of Venice, is only 7 kilometers away and can even be reached by bike . But why not discover lesser-known places - just a few kilometers from Eguisheim are the pretty little villages of Gueberschwihr and Pfaffenheim, and a tour of their centuries-old town centers is worthwhile. Many well-signposted hiking trails of various durations also start from here. The partially steep ascent through vineyards to the Franciscan monastery Schauenberg is rewarded with a pretty view.
