In the heart of the village of Santa Lucia di Mercurio culminating at the top of a mountain in the Cortenaise valley and only 15 minutes by car from Corté, its famous faculties, its citadel, the historic heart with Pasquale Paoli father of the Corsican nation and all shops; I offer you an old house of Corsican charm, completely renovated in 2018.
From its panoramic terrace, a breathtaking view of the mountains awaits you. The calm and serenity of the village will preserve you from the noise pollution of the city in order to guarantee you a successful and exotic vacation. By its immersion in the heart of the Corsica mountains, the nights are calm and sometimes cool to ensure you a restful and peaceful sleep.
Long and short term rentals are possible. Children are welcome and pets are allowed. There is no disabled access and the parking lots are nearby in the village about 2 minutes walk.
This house consists of two panoramic terraces with dining table, chairs and stone barbecue, a living room with kitchen that can be transformed into a bedroom for those who wish (very comfortable convertible permanent sofa bed in the living room), '' a bedroom with double bed 140x190 (possibility of adding a single bed 90x190 on request) and a bathroom with shower. Possibility to sleep up to 5 people. The costs of additional people are different for children accompanying parents (CONSULT ME!).
This rental is furnished and equipped with every comfort. All you need to do is drop off your bags. You will have a TV, internet, a washing machine, a dryer, a dishwasher, an oven, electric hotplates, various kitchen accessories for cooking, a fridge & freezer, a vacuum cleaner, an iron and ironing board. We can also provide linens free of charge or for hire depending on the price offered such as sheets, blankets, terry towels, etc. (for the price consult me).
Cleaning is not included. It must be done on departure from the tenants and the house made as clean as at the entrance. The sum of € 100 maximum will be chargeable if the cleaning is not done or a prorated amount if it does not meet expectations.
The village is also supplied by itinerant traders such as the baker and the butcher who travels aboard their vans to the central square of the village.
Typical Corsican village; we are an hour by car from Bastia and its airport (Poretta) and its commercial port but also close to many important points of interest such as the "Restonica" valley, the "Melu" lake and about two hours by car only from the creeks of Piana and the "Scandola" nature reserve and also from many other tourist sites not to be missed. Hiking, swimming around (30/35 min). Distance from the sea: north-west (Lozari) or 50 min north-east (Moriani-plage).
