This delightful mazot is perfect for a couple or small family. In the little hamlet of Les Tines it is ideally situated for skiing, less than a stone's throw from the SNCF train station and bus stop (travel is free in the valley) which are just across the road. The Flegère lift is 5 minutes away by car one way, or to Les Grands Montets in the opposite direction. There is parking at the mazot.
The mazot is beautifully decorated and has a cosy feel to it with its warm wood timbers. There is a neat, fully equipped kitchen and lovely living area with a table and sofa. There is a small bedroom in an alcove off the living area (with a curtain across the doorway), which is ideal for one guest. Up a step ladder, on the mezzanine, a comfortable double bed provides a real cocoon! There is a smart shower room with WC.
In the summer months there are some lovely mountain walks from your doorstep, this is a very pretty part of the valley. A large garden with a hammock is perfect for lazy summer afternoons, and provides breath-taking mountain views of Les Drus and the Brevent. In the winter a wood burning stove will keep you warm and cosy.
'The cabin is what you see in the pictures, cozy, very clean, neat, very well stocked with absolutely everything you need for the first days of your stay. It has a lovely garden for breakfast, lunch, etc. It overlooks the mountains. There are a lot of routes that can be done in the surroundings and the bus stop and train station are literally a 30 seconds walk from the mazot. Colleen and Marie were super attentive and helped us with everything. The Chamonix valley is amazing. We will never forget our vacation in Les Tines.' AM July 2023
