Authentic farmhouse with a large gite for 15 people (5 star prefectural classification, 5 ears Gîtes de France), a large pool of 10 x 20 m ideal for families or groups of friends. The capacity can be increased to 17, 19 or 23 by the additional rental of one or 2 independent guest rooms (4 ears Gîtes de France) and a small cottage for 2/4 people. In July and August the farmhouse is privatized: no additional rental to people outside the group occupying the large cottage. The inner courtyard of 130 m² shady, mini bamboo and many majestic trees offer many relaxing cool areas. A beautiful landscaped garden surrounds the 2 swimming pools (a pool dedicated to children and the large infinity pool and Californian beach). The 7 rooms (6 double + 1 triple) can be installed in separate single beds. 7 bathrooms (1 bath, 3 whirlpool shower, 3 walk-in showers), 7 toilets. Summary: Mas de l’Oratoire is owned and run by Caroline and Jean -François. They are two of the kindest, most friendly and hospitable individuals we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. 7 of us stayed in the spacious Gite for a week in August. Impressions were good on arrival and the holiday got even better day by day. Our accommodation was exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated and fun to explore. On arrival the owners very kindly invited us for an informal drink in the beautiful courtyard. They were very kind to our children and us. We even found a basket of fresh figs and 3 bottles (red, white and rose) of good quality local wine on arrival as a welcome gift. The outside area is stunning. There is a 70ft magical swimming pool and even a separate smaller one which our youngest child adored. The main swimming pool was perfectly clean and i have never seen such a wonderful pool set in stunning gardens. There is so much space. The pool security for children is exceptional. I worked whilst on holiday for some of the time. Despite the rural location, the WIFI was perfect at all times. There were 3 areas to eat outside, excluding the very large dining room table, spacious table in the kitchen and a separate bar/coffee/tea area. Spoilt for choice. The hospitality was unbeatable. We were looked after so well by Caroline and Jean -François. They checked every day that we were happy, advised on the local area and were the perfect hosts, whilst maintaining a distance from us, so it felt 100% private. The use of outside lighting at night, both in the grounds and pool, was beautiful. If you are looking for fantastic accommodation, in a beautiful setting and are keen on being looked after, then this is the perfect holiday. Unbeatable in fact.
