Beautiful 300-year old village house with magnificent oak floors and original marble fireplaces. This spacious light-filled house retains many original features including high ceilings, intricately carved moldings and an elegant winding wood staircase. The house features a large eat-in kitchen complete with all modern appliances (dishwasher, 3-burner gas cook-top and convection oven). The kitchen is well fitted with dishes, utensils and serving-ware for up to 10 persons. There are 3 large luxuriously furnished bedrooms each with comfortable beds and large sunny windows. The house has 2 full bathrooms and 1 half bathroom.
The living room is bright and stylishly decorated with ample seating and flat-screen cable television. Another surprising feature of this house is its amazing roof-top terrace with stunning views of the surrounding village and picturesque countryside. Monflanquin is a historic 13th century hilltop bastide village located approximately 20 minutes north east of Villeneuve-Sur-Lot and is chosen as one of France’s prettiest medieval villages. The village has a swimming pool, access to horseback riding and tennis. Lakes, canoeing and golf courses are all available nearby.
