Summary: The service at this hotel was awesome. The host helped me with having ice bottles to help me keep 10kgs of Bordier butter I was bringing back home to USA. The room was nice and clean and we had a great view of a storcks nest right out our window. But there was one huge problem. We like to sleep with the windows open and fresh air. While there were storms on the 1st night that kept most people at home or inside, on the second night we experienced a kind of hell for several reasons. #1 - the noise of the lobby doors was no longer covered up and we could hear and feel them every time they opened and closed. #2 - smokers gathered on the front step, spoke loudly and cigarette smoke barreled into our room. This went on until after 10PM on a Tuesday night. # 3 rooms on that side of the hotel face a pretty busy street for what should be a quiet hamlet. Maybe better on the upper floors and maybe better on back side and away from the buses and traffic that is quite frequent. TBH I wouldn't stay here again. 4 years ago I stayed in a hotel close to the square and had the most charming 'back in time 400 yrs ago' experience. At this hotel I was unable to find that feeling even briefly although it did quiet down and the bright lights went out later in the evening.

Summary: This is a lovely small hotel very well located on the edge of the historic centre of the beautiful village of Eguisheim. The on site parking is a real bonus.
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming with good local knowledge.
Our room had simple but pleasant decor and furnishings. It was comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom was clean and adequate although I would have preferred a separate shower.
The breakfast buffet was well stocked with a wide range of food and beverages.
All in all, a very comfortable stay and good value for money.

Summary: The hotel was situated on the edge of the cobbled small old town, just steps to restaurants and the small but picturesque square. The room was clean and comfortable with a large patio. The complimentary full (i.e. eggs, meat, cereal continental breakfast) would cost 40-50 Euros and bigger hotels - and the service (the manager/owner) was excellent.
The bed was a little firm but I slept great

Summary: The hotel has a billiard table, which my son happily played with. It was new for him so he was super interested. Good idea! The room is clean. The parking place is just behind the hotel.
While we were there, there was still christmas market, which was so close to the hotel.

Summary: Situated in the centre of this exquisite village, Hostellerie des Comptes is ideal for a few days stay. It was very good value for money with free car parking spaces. The Tourist Information in Eguisheim made useful suggestions of other villages to visit in the surrounding area, we also spent time in Colmar which is a beautiful town and travelled to Strasbourg. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the village and nothing is more pleasant than wandering around this picture perfect village in the late evening.
