The space
House is located one long block from the Carrboro farmers' market, and 2 long blocks (15 min walk) from Weaver St. Market and all Main Street restaurants and pubs. It's a 5 minute drive to Downtown Chapel Hill, depending on lights, and hence that close to UNC. It's the far side of Carrboro from Duke, but still only 20 minutes away. RDU Airport takes about 25 minutes. House is in a quiet neighborhood made up of other small older houses, all of which have been updated for occupancy by students and and hip young couples. This house has a giant back yard, although fencing is not complete, and while it might be suitable for picnics, it is not suitable for pets.
Unique feature is that this is a self-contained VRBO property outfitted specifically for this purpose by experienced hosts who manage two other listings in Chapel Hill (message us if you need to accommodate more people!) This is not intended for long-term rentals, but has everything you need for short term rentals. House has new appliances, new roof, new furnace, new cabinets, new granite counter tops, new beds, new mattresses, new bedding. It's all new.
As owners, we have done a lot of work to make the entire property a beautiful one, and we are proud to offer it here for guests who will respect house rules, and our valued property. Please note, however, this house was built in the 1950's. Although it's restored, there is a slant to the floor, and a window or two that stick. It is 850 square feet TOTAL. That means it's very small, for a two bedroom, one bathroom, house. Some guests have commented that our wide-angle photographs makes the house seem bigger than it is.
