Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Great location with views of the waterway and a short 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the walled town. Spacious apartment over 3 levels. Easy free parking and in a quiet and neat gated community. The appliances that were available worked well including the large TV and streaming service. WiFi is fast and reliable (bit weak on the top floor). Two good sized bathrooms and an additional toilet on the ground floor. Heating is with air conditioners which were effective and easy to control.

Negative: The water pressure in the top shower is a bit weak. The price is relatively high and on top of the cost is lots of additional fees such as cleaning, linen, towels and tax (cash only payment). Therefore we won't be booking an apartment managed by companies that add these fees in the future. The towels and linen are sub standard and insufficient given the required fee. We had to wash the bath towels before we could use them and had no dryer so had to wait for them to dry. The apartment is over furnished with ancillary owner bits and pieces including broken items that are not suited to a managed rental apartment. The kitchen is a bit small with unmatched and chaotic utensils that would make cooking with a full house very difficult. The cupboards are overfull with unmatching crockery and cutlery. There is no desk for laptop use. There was outdoor furniture cluttering the bedrooms which had to be moved before we could unpack. There are no instruction about managing rubbish and only one garbage bag was provided.
