Surrounded by many safe swimming lakes (the closest just 15 minutes drive) many with sandy beaches and watersports and flowing rivers ideal for fishing (Holiday permits available locally) and situated just 15 minutes drive from the historical market town of Dun Le Palestel with all it's conveniences. The house is nestled on the very edge of a peaceful farming hamlet consisting of just a cluster of houses, and situated a short woodland walk from La Petite Creuse river (after which the house is named) where in the summer months children can paddle and catch small fish in the shallow waters. The property and the Creuse region is the ideal place for couples seeking a romantic retreat (couples discounts available), for nature & wildlife lovers along with outdoor activity enthusiasts (walking/cycling/hiking/fishing/horse riding) and perfect for families and groups of friends seeking a relaxing time together 'away from it all' in idyllic surroundings. The house has been finished to a very comfortable standard combining warm rustic charm with modern comfort and conveniences. Attention to detail has been taken in retaining many charming features including original stone flooring downstairs and exposed oak beams throughout. King size beds with luxury Hypnos mattresses await you upstairs, with a thoughtfully equipped rustic farmhouse kitchen downstairs. There is a spacious open-plan lounge/dining room with a large open-fire place and wood burning stove along with many candles to create the perfect cosy atmosphere whatever the season. Maison Petite Creuse equally perfect for a romantic winter hideaway as it is for a fun-filled summer holiday. Three charming bedrooms all with countryside views are located off the upstairs mezzanine - two rooms with king size beds and one with 3 single beds, all with luxury mattresses.
