And above all the adorable Sorlock beach, a well-kept secret for the inhabitants of the Guérande peninsula: fine sand, the Merquel pier and lighthouse a little walk away, just enough rocks at the ends of the beach to collect shells and catch little crabs, mysterious islands, the salt marshes where you can spot little egrets in the morning, and if you need to return to civilization once in a while, not very far away you will visit the medieval city of Guérande , the famous La Baule resort town, not forgetting the trips along the coast to the small fishing ports of Piriac, La Turballe or Le Croisic (terminus station of the TGV high-speed train from Paris). All convenience shops can be found nearby, as well as beach club for children, and the Toul-ru sailing school. 4 to 5 cars can be parked on site (front gate closed).
