Summary: The hotel was a definite choice because it is halal-friendly, therefore we do not need to worry about breakfast and our other meals. Next to the restaurant, there are also a lot of other halal-friendly restaurants. We have only two gripes with the hotel: #1 We contacted the hotel to arrange for an airport transfer but received no reply. When we attempted to clarify, the reception pushed the blame to the booking platform instead - no apologies given. #2 and this was a bigger one: the carpet in our room (due to its light colour) looked dirty and had a lot of stains. This totally messed with us and made us wonder about the cleanliness of the remaining items around the room, such as the upholstery, the curtains, etc. We resorted to having our shoes on in the room, and couldn't bring ourselves to sit on the carpet (when we needed to unpack / pac / etc) and had lay a towel on. Otherwise, the lobby staff and the doormen were all very friendly and super helpful with tips on places to go / eat, and the breakfast buffet selection was quite alright too. We'd recommend it for its halal-friendliness, but...be prepared for the condition of the room.
