Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Incredible beautiful peaceful view over the stream from the deck.

Negative: Soppong is a nice small authentic quiet Thai village, but it does not have much to offer except proximity to the spectacular hills, caves and winding roads. No motorbike rentals... our hotel helped us find one 30 minutes away near Cave Lodge. Almost no restaurants and most of them close around 6 pm. That is wonderful if you are prepared and enjoy a brief escape from the backpacker crowd.
